    @SuperGauntlet for me it would depend on just how cut back the destruction is.

  2. SuperGauntlet dice:

    @Capesports4 But it wouldn’t be just graphics. The destruction element would also have to be cut down, which is a major part of the game.

  3. Capesports4 dice:

    @SuperGauntlet i would take lower graphics in exchange for more players. well worth it

  4. SuperGauntlet dice:

    @Capesports4 Lol. You really think that the PS3 has the capability to do anything near current gen PCs?

    Because it doesn’t.

    Mag could do that because MAG looked like shit.

  5. Zaxkcy dice:

    @Capesports4 It’s impossible, can’t be done. Bu bye.

  6. Capesports4 dice:

    @Zaxkcy it could be done

  7. Zaxkcy dice:

    @Capesports4 I’m sorry what do you know about 3D rendering? Exactly, stfu.

  8. Capesports4 dice:

    @Zaxkcy it could be done.

  9. Zaxkcy dice:

    @Capesports4 You are RETARDED. I just told you in 5 different ways: THE PS3′S CELL PROCESSOR IS OLD AND CANNOT RENDER 64 PLAYER MODELS, THERFORE 64 PLAYERS IS NOT POSSIBLE. KA PICHE?

  10. Lexie79130 dice:

    realize that is one best

  11. Capesports4 dice:

    @Zaxkcy holy crap. the capability of the PS3 to have 64 players in one game is something that should be used. this is not about the capability of a PC. yes MAG had issues, it also wasn’t designed for everyone to be in one huge firefight.

  12. Zaxkcy dice:

    @Capesports4 >.> I just described how PC hardware isn’t even up to 256 players, so PS3 hardware is even further away. MAG is like I said, not actually 256 players. Sure there in the game, but you don’t interact with any of them other than a couple of platoons. That would kill the purpose of 64 players in BF3.

    Let’s be honest; You don’t know how a PS3 runs/works or a PC, so this discussion is pointless.

  13. Capesports4 dice:

    @Zaxkcy i’m saying that the PS3 is capable of 64 player games. it should be used. i’m not talking about PC’s.

  14. Zaxkcy dice:

    @Capesports4 Except you can’t actually have 256 players in one visible area at one time. Bandwidth limitations unless it’s a LAN, and of course the amount of player models would be overwhelming even for the world’s best Desktop CPU, which is dozens of times faster than a Cell processor.

  15. Capesports4 dice:

    @Zaxkcy look up MAG. it had 256 player game modes.

  16. Zaxkcy dice:

    @Capesports4 No it’s not.

  17. lordsangone dice:

    bfbc2 was made for consoles and ported over to pc. – fail.

  18. Capesports4 dice:

    the battlefield series on console would be much better if they upped the player count. the PS3 is capable of more than 64 players per game. might as well use it.

  19. EnviousHawk dice:

    I hope they don’t make console maps smaller because battlefield 3 is going to be great and is known for its scale! thumbs up if u agree!

  20. 1k2ka dice:

    @Joeybits I think he was more referring to it being “made” for PC in the way that the game is far superior on the PC. It isn’t a straight console port and the PC version of the game is different from console.

  21. 1k2ka dice:

    @SimplyNooby BF3 will most likely require Origin to be on.

  22. SimplyNooby dice:

    @1k2ka If its on Origin i’ll just add it as a non-steam game. Im not running 2 clients -_-

  23. Joeybits dice:

    @1k2ka That isn’t at all what he was talking about. He was specifically referring to the BFBC2 title, and was comparing it to the console versions. BF2 was made for PC, but bfbc1 and 2 were both made primarily for console.

  24. 1k2ka dice:

    @SimplyNooby The game is going to be on Origin and not on Steam.

  25. 1k2ka dice:

    @Joeybits He means that the Battlefield concept is made for PC.
