I’ve heard the xbox 360′s have a 33% fail rate but does that mean that i may be lucky enough to have one last a long time?

I have a Linksys WRT54GS version 6 Router, a HughesNet HN7000S, and an Xbox 360 obviously. I need detailed instructions on how to set it up, I also need the correct settings such as MTU, ICMP and all that. It would be awesme if someone who resolved this problem themselves could answer.
