Classic Game Room – SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE review

Classic Game Room reviews SPACE INVADERS: INFINITY GENE from Taito and Square Enix for PS3 Playstation (and Xbox 360 XBLA). This review of Space Invaders Infinity Gene has best gameplay showing Space Invaders Infinity Gene on Playstation 3 with game play in HD. Space Invaders Infinity Gene has more in common with Japanese space ship shooters like Mars Matrix (Shmup style games, shmups) because of the moving playfield and chain combo style multiplyer. Awesome crystal clear sharp visuals and thumpin’ tunes make this a cool “evolved’ version of Space Invaders that should appeal to SHMUP fans as well as some Space Invaders arcade veterans.

   I had a bullet hell game on my zune. I totally love bullet hell games they are just fun. I gotta go give this a try.

    This is better than the original Space Invaders. It plays like the classic Space Invaders, but with brand new twist of gameplay!

    It’s great to see classics like space invaders live on. Todays games are mainly first person shooter, most are awesome, some are plain lame.You rarely get to see games like these now

    This game is very unpleasant to play and it does not fit in with the original Space Invaders at all. Space Invaders Extreme was much better in this regard… Now all they have to do is drop the price on SIE down to $5 because as good as it is, it just doesn’t have enough stuff in it to justify a full $10.

    Thanks for the review. This game just went on sale on PSN for $4.99 and I’m thinking of picking it up.
