How do you request a repair for an Xbox 360 console that has extended warranty?

I have an Xbox 360 that needs to be repaired because it is not reading discs any more. But on the xbox support it says the one year warranty is over but i have the extended warranty. What do I do to let them know that I have the extended warranty and not the issued warranty?

   Just give them a call and talk to them, they’ll get up your info and let you know if you can get the new xbox.

   The Kinect update from Xbox Live on November 1, 2010 caused a large number of Xbox 360 to stop reading discs. Microsoft still hasn’t addressed the issue.

   There is a very large topic on the issue at the official forums. Simply sign into the forum with your Microsoft Live ID and add your complaint to it…
