How much/is it worth to send your xbox 360 in for repair orjust buy a new one?
So my xbox 360 got the E74 error and i tried everythinglike unplugging all the wires and restarting the xbox but it just doesnt work. So im thinking about sending it in for repair buti also thought about justbying a cheap arcade xbox 360 and putting my harddrive fromte broken xbox on that one.
the same problem i hav in my 360 but there is only one solution i.e. is to buy a new xbox . . . . .
If your xbox is still in warranty (3 years or less after you bought it) then you just call Microsoft at 1-800-4my-xbox and they’ll pay for shipping and the reparing service, but if no, it’s about 80 – 100 plus shipping and handling. I would suggest you send it for repair either way.
There are a lot of repair services on ebay for cheap if you don’t have your warranty anymore. Roughly 20-50 bucks. I repair them, so I should know. Just pay attention to which one has the best guarantee. Some guarantee 6 months to a year. If it breaks, they fix it again for free.
