How to play xbox360 on windows vista media center using a tv tuner card?

I just got a new PC that came with Windows Vista home premium edition. It came with a TV tuner/capture card installed with it. So far I’ve been able to watch live TV through it using the included Windows Media Center software. However I’ve noticed that I have ports on both the front of the PC and on the TV card itself for plugging in the yellow, white, and red video/audio cables you use for things like DVD players and video game consoles. My question is once I hook my Xbox360 up using these ports how can I switch to the proper video mode inside Windows Vista Media Center so that I can play my games? Thanks in advance!
I can’t call assistance with windows vista because I have an OEM copy that came with an HP PC I bought. I tried this microsoft will not give support to OEM, and HP has no idea what to tell me. Also hooking up the xbox360 as I described does not automatically make it work in media center. Anyone actually have experience making this work?
