Is it illegal to download a xbox 360 game from Blockbuster? I have the scratched version tht my xbox cant read?
I have a game that has been scratched a lot and now my xbox 360 can’t read it. Is it illegal to rent the same game from Blockbuster, download it to my hard drive, and then play it later because I have the scratched version? Or is this considered stealing or piracy? Thanks a ton!
The Game Code Copied from the disk to the harddrive will be checked by xbox and wont play without the BlockBuster Disk with the code it used to put it on your harddrive.. This was to prevent Piracy.. so even if you do.. It wont work:(
As long as you disk can be read enough to begin the game, this should work. I’ve been able to do this just fine, though I have also had my disk too damaged to start the game. This is not considered piracy since you aren’t illegally downloading the game, you are still using your owned copy of the game to play it.
