Xbox 360 do you have to download movies from netflix?
I was just wondering since I wanted to get netflix for the xbox360 soon if you need to have download space for the movie? I heard that you just stream the movies, but I’m not sure. I can’t download any movies consider that I have like no space on my xbox 360, so I wanted to find out so I don’t waste my money on netflix and I end up somehow not being able to watch movies/tv shows. Thanks!
no you dont have to download, they stream live so if you have good internet they will look perfect like a dvd.
No, Netflix does a buffer (playback download) and then plays back from that deleting the buffer as its played, this buffer usually only takes up a couple 50-100 megs and its only temporary, Netflix will playback without buffer but you better have a fast connection or it will be very grainy and choppy.
No downloads required. The movie is downloaded, similar to a temp interenet file, buffered, and downloaded. As the movie plays through, it will delete the buffer. You get to watch your movie, without taking up a lot of extra space on your XBOX!
